A thought provoking, heart felt gift for anyone dealing with a loved one’s dementia.

With a classic design featuring forget-me-nots, this gift features the poem "Remembering" (Author unknown).

It reads:

"As I sit by your side,
Watching you drift away,
I can’t help but wonder,
What memories do you replay?
Do you remember your wedding day,
When you said “I do” with a smile?
Or the birth of your children,
And holding them close for a while?
What about the laughter,
Of family gathered for a feast?
Or the times you held hands,
On a sunset-warmed beach?
I wish I could know,
What you see in your mind,
As you slip away from me,
Leaving me behind.
But even if you forget,
What once brought you such joy,
You’ll always know one thing,
That love is never destroyed.
So I’ll stay by your side,
Until your remembering is done,
And hold your hand tightly,
Until your final setting sun."
